Edinburgh v Dragons
After a slightly slow start to the season’s opener Edinburgh hit top gear to score 44 unanswered points in a terrific bonus point win against the Dragons.
Dragons fielded many of their new close season signings and started the game brightly scoring 6 points in the opening 15 minutes off the game from the boot of JJ Hanrahan.
After this the game suddenly sparked into life with a great try from Vellacott.
The team really hit top gear and with further tries from Young, Graham (2), Hoyland, Kinghorn & Dean brushed Dragons aside. They scored 44 unanswered points for a bonus point victory and a position at the top of the URC after game one.
With two great tries especially the second, the Player of the Match went to the magician that is Darcy Graham.
