Edinburgh Rugby Fans Group Player Sponsorship
Members of our group will know that over the last few years we have sponsored a number of squad members. During lockdown we even sponsored a whole squad worth of players. This year player sponsorship changed so we were unable to continue as we had in previous years but we approached the club and made an arrangement that we are really excited about.
The club offered us the exclusive opportunity to sponsor all 15 of our academy players. This is only available to the group so the only way to a shirt from one of our academy players is to join in our player sponsorship raffle.
At time of writing this article we have enough to sponsor 13 of our academy players and have announced 11 of them so we are well on our way to reaching our goal.
Towards the end of the season, we will complete the draw. Those who win one of academy players shirts will get a match day shirt signed by that player and will be invited to attend a training session with the academy players and their coaches, this will be exclusive for winners and their plus ones. Other prizes in the draw include an Argentina shirt signed by Emiliano Boffeli and a rugby ball signed by academy players along with some first team squad members.
